I live out in the middle of nowhere, where dsl and cable are not available. I have sprint mobile broadband and it’s fast and I want to connect my xbox 360 to xbox live. How can i connect my xbox to xbox live using sprint mobile broadband? It’s a sierra wireless compass 597 usb modem, and the connection is listed under dial-up connections. I have it connected directly to the computer using an ethernet cable. thanks!

You might be able to. Unplug the ethernet cable from your computer and plug it into your xbox and go to network settings and hit test connections. see what happens. It may work. If you dont want to constantly move your modem around, get a router. Plug the ethernet from the modem into the uplink port. Plug the xbox and computer into the LAN ports. If it worked on the xbox without a router, then it will probably work with one.
