Under the Xi Brand: DoCoMo to invest .4 billion in Japanese LTE Infrastructure
of 55 million customers, 800 pound gorilla in worlds most advanced mobile society , Japan, is NTT DoCoMo . And for the weekend, the company clearly wants to maintain its position in the future LTE: DoCoMo is ready to invest 00000000 over the next three years to build base stations and start LTE services in December Year (first of three major Japanese carriers .)
Under the plan, DoCoMo subscribers can initially expect a maximum downlink speed of 37.5 Mbps. The service will be available for the PC first, and compatible mobile phones will be rolled out sometime in 2011. Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka are the cities that will be covered first, by about 50% of the nation to follow by 2014.
You can see the logo above shows the brand of LTE, Xi, which reads crossy . DoCoMo plans to introduce MVNO Xi accessible from the get-go, too.

I am no longer under contract with t-mobile and I would like to switch to verizon because that is who all my friends and family are with. The research I have done is that it took people a lot of time, effort and headaches to cancel the service (which they did not explain on how they finally did it.) I called t-mobile and got the runaround. i got frustrated and hung up after being on hold for 40 minutes. Anyone have experience with this?
