For my assignment I would need to have a high level design & technical description, including:
Technologies Used
Schematic diagram
Functional Flow
I just need ideas to start the assignment as I do not have any idea on what should be done to get it done.
The idea is if a user needs suggestions of a place to eat within a certain location, all the user has to do is type in a location and the mobile will list down the restaurants around the area complete with the address.

Long story short, you need data, and a way to handle it from 2 directions.
Root Data: Restaurants.
Name, address, city, state, zip, phone, fax, website, coordinates (latitude and longitude), descriptions, ratings, and maybe the top 5 menu items.
Dynamic Data: Users
On the other side you need the mobile users coordinates.
And a search query…
Type of food, by rating, by distance, etc.
Now parse the data.
Broomfield Designers, http://www.broomfield-designers.com builds these custom databases.
Lots of ways to get it done. IMHO this should get you started…..
LAMP is free (Linux, Apache, MYSQL, and PHP).
Access, SQL 2005, and SQL 2000 are from Microsoft and need Server 2003 or better.
Then there is Oracle if you want to make it really costly as you get started.

Did u buy the mobile TV plan or not? if yes go to your at&t store and tell them the problem, if you didn’t then you have to buy the plan, or you may not have coverage for mobile TV in your area. Heres a map to see if you have coverage.
